What is a wish list?
Keep track of items you want or gift ideas for friends and family with wish lists. Here are the ways you can use wish lists: -
Create one or multiple lists—no limits!
-
Choose from private or public viewing options.
-
Use wish lists like gift registries—friends search for your lists with your name or eBay User ID, or send emails with your lists. Just click “Email to a friend” under one of your wish lists.
-
Add an item to a wish list from any Item page and click “Wish List” at the top of any page on eBayExpress.com to view a list.
-
Add an item from your wish list to your shopping cart anytime.
Creating a list
-
Sign in to eBay Express.
-
When you start a new wish list name it and make it descriptive so people know what you really want. For example, you could call a list “Housewarming Party” and include “Items for the Living Room” in the description.
-
You can change quantities, and items will stay on your list for up to 90 days. If an item you’ve added to your list is no longer available, we’ll suggest an alternative when possible.
-
Include your shipping address so friends can purchase and ship an item to you.
Types of wish lists
-
Public lists are meant to be shared.
-
You can email your friends a public wish list, or post the link to it on a Web page (the URL is located in your browser’s Address window).
-
Friends and family can also find your public lists by searching with your name or eBay User ID. When you create a new wish list, it’s automatically made public.
-
Private lists can only be viewed by you and are not searchable. To make a list private:
-
Select one of your Wish Lists then click “Edit settings.”
-
Select the “Private” option.
-
Click the Save button.
